Centerville Montana is located in Cascade County, just southeast of Great Falls. But the more popular location in Montana is the Centerville neighborhood in Butte. This neighborhood was a tight cluster of houses build before 1900, into the steep slopes of the Butte hill. Most the people living in this area were Irish immigrants miners and their families. For a long while, Centerville stayed outside of the city limits of Butte, so they didn’t develop along side the rest of Butte. It stayed a stronghold of the Irish culture.
