Hogeland is a small unincorporated community in northern Blaine County, Montana, about 12 miles south of the Canadian border. It was founded around 1928 when the Great Northern Railway came through and named after engineer A. H. Hogeland. Today, it’s a quiet spot surrounded by wide-open farmland with fewer than 30 residents.
