Clyde Park is located in Park County, between White Sulpher Springs and Livingston. This town was originally called Sunnyside, and was founded by a Texas cattlemen. In 1890, the Clyde Park post office was opened, and in 1901 the two towns merged. It’s unclear if Clyde Park was named after Clyde Durand, who was a local rancher, or after John Harvey’s Clydesdale horse.
