A historic fishing access on Montana’s Big Hole River near Twin Bridges, tucked among cottonwoods and willows below the dramatic Hogback Ridge. Once known simply as “The Notch,” the site was later renamed in honor of Tony Schoonen, a longtime Montana conservationist who helped protect the Big Hole as a free-flowing river.
