Grey Owl was a small railroad siding along the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad in eastern Montana. It mainly served nearby ranchers and rail operations rather than developing into a full town. When rail traffic declined, Grey Owl faded into obscurity, leaving little trace behind.
